We call the unique backing we have developed EVAPOLYTEX® as it is put together of ethylene-vinyl-acetate compound and of polyester felt. Carpet with EVAPOLYTEX® -backing keeps its shape and is non-slip and flexible and do not harm any floor surfaces. Further more it is odorless and does not crumble. EVAPOLYTEX®-backing makes it possible to deliver shaggy rugs without tape or overlocking and due to this quality VM-Carpet rugs are well-received.
Such carpet should never be folded and when rolling turn backside inside. EVA is environmentally friendly material. The same compound is used in packages of food industry and it does not release any harmful substances in the environment. The Technical Research Center of Finland was involved in testing and approving the methode.
